Bee Safe Bee Removal | Bee Removal From Front Door Overhang

Service Details

The customer had been noticing bees working the overhang near the front door for about a month, with the activity becoming much more noticeable over the previous two weeks. Based on the inspection I did the previous day where the traffic was building, this looked like a job tied to the roof area above the entry rather than something lower on the wall, so I opened the section needed to reach the hive and kept the work centered on that part of the structure. I removed the hive from the overhang area, cleaned out the void, and then added insulation before closing it back up. After that, I replaced the roofing materials that had to come off to reach the bees and made sure the area was sealed back in properly. This one was mostly about keeping the opening controlled around the front entry and putting the structure back together in a clean way once the hive was out. When I finished, the hive had been removed, the cavity had been insulated, and the roof section over the entry had been repaired, with some remaining bee movement outside still expected to taper down over time.
