Service Details

This job involved a honey bee colony established inside a wall cavity of the structure. Bee activity was noticeable at the wall surface, which helped narrow down the hive location early in the inspection. Once the area was confirmed, a controlled opening was made directly over the active section to avoid spreading damage across the wall. The goal was to keep repairs limited and straightforward. A bee vacuum was used throughout the removal to collect bees as the hive and comb were taken out in stages. This allowed the work to stay contained and reduced movement into nearby wall spaces. After the hive was fully removed, the cavity was cleaned and inspected to ensure no remaining comb or activity was present. The insulation in that section had been affected and was removed and replaced before closing the wall. The wall was repaired and secured once the interior work was complete. Photos taken after repairs showed the surface was left smooth and even, requiring only a paint job to return the area to like-new condition. Final observation confirmed no continued bee activity, and the structure was left clean and stable.
