Service Details

I arrived at the property on September 3rd after bees were observed entering the soffit area near the chimney. Activity was consistent, indicating the bees had established themselves inside the structure rather than forming a temporary swarm. I began with an exterior inspection focused on the chimney line and adjacent soffit panels to confirm the entry point and extent of activity. Once access was established, I carefully opened the soffit section to reach the hive without expanding the opening beyond what was necessary. A bee vacuum was used to remove the bees in a controlled manner, allowing for live removal while minimizing disturbance to the rest of the structure. After the bees were cleared, I removed the exposed hive material to eliminate attractants that could draw future colonies. Repairs were completed using the same soffit materials that were removed during access. The area was closed, secured, and sealed to prevent reentry, with particular attention given to the chimney transition where gaps commonly form. I finished by monitoring the area for residual flight activity. The job concluded with the soffit restored and no further bee movement observed.
