Service Details

I arrived at the property on July 9th after the homeowner reported heavy bee traffic going into a wooden ceiling under the backyard patio. Activity was concentrated in one section, indicating an established hive rather than a passing swarm. I began with a visual inspection and then used a thermal camera to trace heat signatures within the ceiling cavity. This allowed me to map the size and position of the hive before opening the structure. Once the hive location was confirmed, I accessed the wooden ceiling and used a bee vacuum to remove the bees in a controlled manner. The hive was large and fully established, requiring careful removal to prevent bees from dispersing deeper into the structure. After the bees and hive material were cleared, I cleaned the cavity to remove residual attractants. Repairs were completed using the same wood materials that were removed during access. No replacement materials were introduced. The original ceiling components were reinstalled and secured to restore the patio ceiling to its prior condition. I finished by sealing entry points to prevent future activity and monitored the area to confirm the bees were no longer returning.
