Service Details

I arrived at the property on June 8th to address bee activity coming from beneath the roof tiles on the second floor. The homeowner had observed steady flight patterns along the roofline, which typically indicates an established hive rather than a temporary swarm. I began by scanning the area with a thermal camera to locate the full extent of the colony and confirm its position under the tiles without disturbing surrounding sections unnecessarily. Once the hive location was clearly mapped, I carefully lifted the affected roof tiles and accessed the cavity. The hive was intact and well preserved, with healthy honeycomb fully formed beneath the tile line. I removed the bees and comb in a controlled manner, keeping the structure of the hive together during extraction. After removal, I cleaned the cavity and verified there was no remaining activity using the thermal camera again. Repairs were completed using the same materials that had been removed, restoring the roof tiles to their original placement and sealing the access point. The job concluded with the roofline secured and no further bee traffic observed.
