Service Details

I arrived at the property on October 23rd to address bee activity coming from the first floor eaves along the exterior wall. The homeowner had noticed steady flight entering a narrow seam beneath the eaves, which is a common access point during the fall when colonies are established and well organized. I began with a close inspection from ground level to confirm the entry location and determine the extent of the hive without opening more material than necessary. After accessing the eave section, I confirmed the presence of healthy, exposed honeycomb. A bee vacuum was used to remove the bees in a controlled manner, keeping activity contained and allowing the structure to be worked safely. Once the bees were removed, the remaining comb was taken out to eliminate attractants that could lead to reentry. Repairs were completed using the same materials that were removed during access, restoring the eaves to their original condition. I sealed the entry point and checked adjacent sections to confirm there were no secondary access gaps. The job concluded with the hive removed, the structure repaired, and no remaining bee activity observed.
