Service Details

I arrived at the property in mid November, which is a period when wasp activity can persist in sheltered areas even as temperatures cool. The homeowner reported multiple wasp nests around the exterior of the house and suspected activity inside a wooden children’s playhouse in the backyard. I began with a full walk around the structure to confirm nest locations and traffic patterns. An infrared camera was used to check enclosed sections of the playhouse and adjacent wall voids where visual access was limited. This helped confirm active nests without dismantling the structure unnecessarily. Once the active nest sites were identified, I carried out targeted wasp extermination using commercially rated products applied according to label standards. Extra care was taken around the playhouse due to its use by children, focusing only on the affected cavities and exterior attachment points. After treatment, I removed accessible nest material to reduce the chance of reinfestation and rechecked the area to confirm no remaining activity. The job concluded with the backyard and play structure cleared of active wasp presence and safe for normal use.
