Service Details

This late October job involved a wasp hive that had established itself inside the wall cavity. The exterior was finished brickwork, so accessing it from outside would have meant unnecessary damage and higher repair costs. The decision was made early to work entirely from the interior, which allowed the structure to stay intact and kept the overall scope tighter. A thermal scan from inside gave a clear heat signature, making the hive location easy to confirm before opening the wall. Once access was made, extermination was performed first to neutralize active wasps in the cavity. After that, the vacuum was used to remove remaining insects and loose nest material. The hive itself was well contained within the wall space and came out cleanly once exposed. Because the thermal image was strong, there was no need to expand the opening beyond what was required, which kept the repair area small and controlled. After removal, the interior wall was repaired and brought back flush with the surrounding surface. The structural work was completed on site, and the area only needed a coat of paint to blend back in like new. Some residual wasp activity
