Service Details

This service focused on prevention along with removal of existing wasp nests around the exterior of the home. The visit took place in December, a time when wasp activity is reduced but nests and shelter points can still remain active or become overwintering sites. Inspection started at the roofline and chimney, where gaps around the fireplace flue provided a protected entry point. The chimney area was treated and sealed to close off access and prevent future nesting. Several inactive and low activity nests were found along eaves and recessed corners and were removed once treatment was applied. An extension pole was used to apply a pet-safe pesticide and pheromone blocker to elevated areas, allowing full coverage without disturbing siding or trim. Additional treatment was applied to nooks and crannies around the structure where wasps commonly shelter. No structural opening was required for this job. After removal and treatment, all access points were secured and the exterior was left clean. The preventive approach reduced the likelihood of wasp return during warmer months and addressed existing nest locations in a controlled manner.
