Service Details

I arrived at the property on March 13th to address bee activity coming from a brick column that was part of a perimeter fence. The homeowner had noticed steady bee traffic entering through mortar joints, which indicated a hive established inside the hollow section of the column. I began with a close exterior inspection to confirm the entry points and determine how far the hive extended within the structure. Accessing the hive required careful removal of selected bricks to avoid unnecessary damage to the fence. Once the cavity was exposed, I used a bee vacuum to remove the bees in a controlled manner. The hive material was then taken out completely from inside the column. This was a specialized job due to the masonry work involved, so removal and repair were handled in sequence to maintain the integrity of the fence. After the bees and hive were cleared, I repaired the brick column, resetting the bricks and restoring the mortar to match the existing structure. The area was checked again for any remaining activity before closing out the job. The fence column was left structurally sound, with the hive fully removed and access points sealed.
