Service Details

I arrived at the property on May 27th after bees were observed consistently entering the soffit area along the roofline. This type of activity usually indicates an established hive inside the soffit cavity. I began the job with an inspection from both inside and outside the home using a thermal camera to confirm the exact location and size of the colony. Thermal readings showed concentrated heat along one soffit section, confirming active hive presence without needing interior access. Based on the layout and accessibility, removal was performed entirely from the exterior. I opened the soffit carefully and used a bee vacuum to remove the bees in a controlled manner. The vacuum is designed specifically for live bee removal and allowed me to clear the colony without dispersing bees into other parts of the structure. Once the bees and hive material were removed, I cleaned the cavity to reduce residual attractants. After removal, I completed repairs to the soffit using the same materials that were originally in place, restoring the exterior to its prior condition. Final checks confirmed no remaining bee activity. The job concluded with the soffit secured and the structure protected against reentry.
