Service Details

I arrived at the property on October 1st after the homeowner noticed consistent bee activity entering the soffit area along the roofline. Early October is still active season for bees, and soffit spaces often provide warmth and protection. I began with a close exterior inspection to locate the exact entry point and confirm the bees were established inside the wooden soffit rather than temporarily swarming. Once the access point was identified, I opened the soffit section carefully to avoid unnecessary damage. A bee vacuum was used to remove the bees in a controlled manner, allowing for live removal without spreading activity further into the structure. After the bees were cleared, I removed compromised insulation that had been exposed to hive material. Fresh insulation was installed to restore the thermal barrier and prevent residual attractants. The wooden soffit was then repaired and sealed to close off the entry point. I checked the surrounding sections to ensure there were no additional access gaps. The job concluded with the soffit fully restored, no remaining bee activity, and the structure secured against reentry.
