Bee Safe Bee Removal | Second Floor Church Wall Hive Removal

Service Details

This job was at a church where bees were working into a wall on the second floor. The entry was along a plywood section set against the brick, and from the outside there was steady movement in and out of that one spot. I used the thermal camera to confirm the hive. With the height and the way they were using the wall, this was clearly not surface activity. The hive was set inside the cavity behind that patched section. I opened the plywood area enough to reach the hive, removed the bees and comb, and cleaned out the wall space so there was no wax or honey left sitting inside. After that, I added insulation back into the cavity and patched the plywood closed. This one did not call for a full finish repair, just a solid close-up of the access point after the removal and cleanout. When I wrapped up, a few returning bees were still checking the old entry, which is normal on this kind of wall job.
