Service Details

I arrived at the property on August 25th to address bee activity along the exterior roofline on the second floor. The homeowner reported bees entering the soffit area near the chimney. This type of location often provides warmth and shelter, especially late in the summer when colonies are well established. I began with an exterior inspection from the ground and then accessed the area at roof level to confirm the entry point and hive location inside the soffit space. Once access was established, I performed a controlled live bee removal using a bee vacuum to safely extract the bees without spreading activity across the roof or chimney area. After the bees were removed, I cleared the visible hive material from the soffit cavity to reduce the chance of lingering attraction. No structural repairs or sealing were performed at this visit, as the homeowner planned to complete those repairs independently. Before leaving, I rechecked the area for remaining activity and confirmed that bee traffic had stopped. The job concluded with the bees removed and the site prepared for follow-up repairs by the homeowner.
