Service Details

I arrived at the property on August 21st to address bee activity coming from the upper portion of the structure. The homeowner had noticed consistent movement near the roofline on the third floor. After an exterior review, I used a thermal camera to scan beneath the roof tiles, which confirmed an established hive inside the roof cavity. This approach allowed me to pinpoint the active area without removing tiles unnecessarily. Once the hive location was confirmed, I accessed the affected section of the roof and carefully removed the tiles needed to reach the cavity. The bees were removed in a controlled manner, and all hive material was cleared from the space to prevent residual attraction. The insulation in the affected area showed contamination from hive activity, so it was removed and replaced with new insulation to restore the barrier and stabilize the space. After removal and insulation work, I completed repairs under the roof tiles using matching materials to maintain the structure’s integrity. The tiles were reset and secured. I finished by monitoring the area to confirm bee activity had stopped. The job concluded with the roof restored and the hive fully removed.
