Bee Safe Bee Removal | Bee Removal From Rear Siding With Repair

Service Details

This job was on the back side of the parents’ property where the bees were working in through the siding. The customer said she had noticed bees in that same area the year before, and now there was active traffic again, so I treated it as an established colony inside the wall area rather than surface activity. From the outside, the main thing to watch was the steady movement at one section of the siding and how consistent the flight path was. I opened the affected section carefully, removed the bees and comb from the void, and cleaned out the remaining material from inside the cavity. After the removal, I added insulation material to fill the space back in and then repaired the opening so the section was closed up properly again. The repair part on this one was straightforward, but it still mattered because leaving that void open would have made the area easier to reuse later. When I finished, there were still a few bees checking the old entry point, which is normal after this kind of work, but the colony and hive material were out of that section.
