Service Details

This removal involved a honey bee colony established in the soffit area where two rooflines meet. Bee traffic was concentrated along the seam, indicating the hive was set back inside the soffit cavity rather than exposed. Access was gained by carefully opening the affected soffit section to avoid unnecessary disturbance to the surrounding materials. Once the cavity was visible, comb structure and clustered bees were confirmed inside the space. A bee vacuum was used throughout the removal to control movement and collect bees as the hive material was taken out. Comb was removed in stages to keep the process contained and to prevent debris from spreading into adjacent roof areas. After the hive was fully cleared, the cavity was inspected for remaining residue and cleaned out to reduce the chance of reentry. The soffit area was then repaired and closed back in, restoring the original alignment where the roof sections meet. All seams were secured to eliminate gaps that could allow future activity. Final observation showed no returning bees, and normal exterior conditions were restored before leaving the site.
